A Rule of Tum
A simple concept executed superbly, A Rule of Tum’s ‘The Burger Shop’ serves consistently delicious burgers and other treats. Next door, the boys – Dorian, Jon and Edwin – have also opened ‘The Bookshop’ – a restaurant and bar space.
The Burger Shop is in the heart of the city behind the Green Dragon Hotel and while the décor may be simple, the food is fabulous. The owners are passionate about provenance, using the best local, seasonal ingredients in their mouthwatering meals – they really do appreciate their suppliers, treating the farmers, growers, brewers and distillers as extended family and working with them to make sure they achieve the best for customers. The team are focused on doing something simple but making it the best they possibly can with the right people and, of course, the right ingredients. For example, beef comes from West Herefordshire farmer Tom Jones, who rears grass-fed Hereford and Dexter cattle
The Bookshop next door is a restaurant and bar with constantly evolving seasonal menus. A visit to either The Burger Shop or The Bookshop is highly recommended.
