Arthur’s in Belper is a contemporary, informal bistro specialising in British small plates. The tasting menu of five or 10 courses changes monthly and never fails to surprise and delight, making it the perfect spot for a special evening meal.
Our lucky reviewer paid Arthur’s a visit and enjoyed: Crich sourdough bread with house-churned sour butter, red pepper velouté with cod and chorizo croquette, monkfish served with sauce bordelaise and five tasty quenelles, including lavender ratatouille and basil jam. Cherry Bakewell and a piece of smoked fudge rounded off the meal.
Take your own bottle, sit back and then prepare to try something totally new! Breakfast and lunch are also served.
