Barlows Lodge, the farm where Barlows of Belvoir is based, has been on the same site for hundreds of years set among the rolling countryside and ancient hedgerows. As a farm, it’s diversified to move with the times and the preserves have proved to be a hit with local chefs who incorporate them into their dishes – the head chef at The Manners Arms in nearby Knipton uses the ‘Owd Owthorpe’ Orange, Apple & Clove Marmalade in his breaded Camembert starter. You’ll also find the jams in cakes at various local cafés.
