Beer Guerrilla have been open since 2016 and it is hard to imagine Northampton’s Wellingborough Road without them. They stock beers from around the world. The shelves are arranged by country and style, and the variety is exceptional. We wouldn’t recommend making it a quick visit – you’ll probably be there a while!
They have a tasting area so you can enjoy a sample or two while you decide. Or you could try the brews they have on tap. Because as well as the massive selection of bottles and cans, they also sell beer on tap that you can take home. You can buy growlers – re-usable amber glass bottles that hold just over three pints. Fill one up with the beer you want, enjoy at home, and then wash in hot water. Repeat! Check out the BG website for a list of the beers currently on tap.
On our most recent trip to Beer Guerrilla, we finally (after much deliberation) chose a selection of bottled beers including Lemongrass Luau from Kona Brewing Company, Delirium (which reminded us of a Belgian holiday), and Indian Summer IPA from Northamptonshire brewery Hoggleys.
