The Copper Room
The Copper Room in Stamford is a small, cosy, sociable, high-class drinking den that serves a carefully chosen array of distinguished drinks. Top-notch booze is the focus but there’s a nice selection of snacks, too.
Founded by two Stamfordians in early 2018, the bar serves regularly changing craft keg beers, small-batch spirits and wines, cocktails and Two Chimps coffee. Bottled beers are also available, including a serious range of Belgium Trappist brews.
Food options include duck spring rolls with sweet chilli dip, charcuterie boards, cheese boards, scotch eggs, pork pies, olives and toasted teacakes.
The Copper Room is a superb place in which to relax – classy and comfortable and benefiting from an atmospheric location in the heart of historic Stamford, opposite St Mary’s Church. The owners know their drinks and also know how to run an excellent bar.
Check The Copper Room’s website for opening times.
