England Preserves was founded in 2001 when Sky Cracknell and Kai Knutsen discovered a talent for making jam at their home in Wood Green. Despite their subsequent expansion into a team of four, Sky and Kai still play a hands-on role in the production and delivery of each of their wonderful culinary creations.
Their range is packed with often locally sourced fruits and vegetables that have been thoughtfully crafted into fun and flavoursome preserves. From ‘Bermondsey Bramble’ to ‘Blackcurrant Blighty’ and ‘London Marmalade’, Sky and Kai have successfully captured flavours that evoke memories of the English countryside. Seasonal specialities also feature throughout the year.
Sky and Kai open their kitchen doors to the public every Saturday morning. They also hope to run classes at their arch in Bermondsey, covering jam, chutney and marmalade making.
