Hart Family Brewers
British malted barley and wheat, water, yeast and plenty of British hops – those are the only ingredients you’ll find in the delicious beers brewed by Hart Family Brewers.
This brewery’s philosophy is to make ‘pure beer’, which, say founders Rob and Sarah Hart, “means we don’t use cheap cereal additives, enzymes, artificial colourings, flavours or preservatives. And we don’t brew bland, tasteless beer. Basically, we don’t compromise our principles for a cheap buck.”
Rob and Sarah founded Hart Family Brewers in 2012, setting up their 1833 Brewery in a converted Georgian factory in Wellingborough. Since then they haven’t looked back and have won many fans plus the odd award, with their 1833 India Pale Ale (6.6%) grabbing gold in the Artisan Local Drinks category in the Carlsberg Northants Food & Drink Awards 2013/14.
Every Saturday, Hart Family Brewers holds a brewery open day in Wellingborough when you can pop down to learn more about beer and brewing, and buy bottled or draught beer from the brewery shop to take home (with a great discount for Great Food Club members).
Hart Family Brewers is also involved in Beerhouse in Market Harborough – a micropub where the emphasis is on locally produced cask beers served straight from the cask.
30% off any mixed case of 8 x 500ml Hart Family Brewers beers purchased from the brewery shop (open every Saturday 9am-5pm). Please show your card at the till.
