Jack Rabbits Kitchen, Ashbourne
Jack Rabbits Kitchen is a stylish cafe on the same site as the Greenman public house in Ashbourne and produces fresh, honest food. Bread, cakes and biscuits are baked daily by Carlos in the kitchen and much of the other produce is locally-sourced – ham is from Nigel’s Butchers and the fruit for smoothies comes from Fresh Choice just down the road from the cafe.
The coffee is an exclusive blend and if you enjoy a cup while you’re there, you can also take it home as beans or ground coffee. Everything on the menu is made fresh and there’s a Little Bunnies menu for children – everyone gets a warm welcome here whether you’re going for family brunch or you’re just popping in for a cuppa, cake and to catch up with the newspapers.
Smoothies and juices are always popular and for something more indulgent, how about a milkshake made with Matlock Meadows Ice Cream? Delicious!
