King’s Cliffe Bakery, Stamford

King’s Cliffe Bakery in Stamford is a cafe and bakery tucked away on Star Lane and is an outpost of the popular King’s Cliffe Bakery whose HQ and original cafe is located in the village of King’s Cliffe.

You can choose from a variety of loaves and all are made by hand to traditional recipes, including old fashioned fluted (sometimes called a milk loaf), multiseed, wholemeal, malt-crunch, sunflower or pumpkin loaves. Cakes include Paradise Slices, Eccles cakes and a range of buns, as well as seasonal offerings such as hot cross buns and mince pies.

If you’re shopping in Stamford and fancy taking a rest for coffee and cake, this is a good spot. There’s also a selection of lunch options including homemade soup.
