The Little Taquero
A free jarritos (Mexican soft drink) or side of rice & beans with a serving of tacos
Run by couple Kerry and Chris, The Little Taquero brings the best Mexican and Central American tacos to Bristol.
You’d be hard pressed to miss them in their lovingly restored, bright orange vintage 1978 Renault Estafette Van, which can be seen at the various street-food markets around the city. These guys are well travelled and very familiar with the food of South and Central America. They spent a year in southern Mexico, Belize and Nicaragua honing their skills and sharpen them they did… those tacos are seriously good.
With ingredients locally sourced wherever possible and everything homemade and fresh, from the salsa right down to the tortillas, you know you’re in for a treat. My recommendation? Stock up on napkins and jump straight in with the ‘Al Pastor’ pork tacos complete with authentic Belizean refried beans, pico de gallo, guacamole and chargrilled pineapple. Amazing (and messy).
Check The Little Taquero website to see where they are next. They are also available to hire for events and weddings.
