Lucy’s Patisserie is a fantastic addition to Redbourn’s high street. This is a café, patisserie and cake ordering service from local entrepreneur Lucy Harris.
Lucy was a novice baker only a few years ago, but after a few years of training and working as a pastry chef at West Herts College, it was time to branch out on her own. Initially it started as a mobile business, but in 2024 she took the plunge and, with support from her family, she opened her own cafe and shop.
The exterior has real curb appeal! Bright pink paintwork and awnings makes it pretty hard to miss. Inside there’s a few pretty tables and an imposing counter with all kinds of sweet treats on show.
Savoury options on the menu include filled ciabattas, toasties and sandwiches to choose from. But many customers will be there for the sweet goodies. Whether it’s a cupcake, some macarons, or a slice of cake, there’s plenty to choose from. And if you’re feeling particularly peckish, why not book in for an afternoon tea?
And if you need a cake for a special occasion, speak to Lucy and she’ll be happy to make something fabulous!
