Matthew’s Preserved
Matthew’s Preserved is a business with a heartwarming story. In 2018, founder Matthew Slaughter found himself feeling completely washed up and without direction. Having left a career in waste management behind, and with his mental health at an all-time low, he began making chutneys and developing new recipes. With encouragement from friends and family, he then started the business and since then, has won countless awards.
The delicious line-up includes: chutney, jam, jelly, marmalade and sauce. The Spicy Pineapple Chutney has plenty of fans and won a Great Taste Award in 2019 with very high praise from the judges. Looking for a tasty start to the day? Three Fruit Marmalade with orange, grapefruit and lemons sounds like the makings of a dreamy breakfast to us, as does the Plum Jam.
This is a business with real soul and you’ll be able to taste that in every mouthful.
