Nanna Mexico is a great place to stop off between those busy shopping trips for a quick, tasty, and authentic Mexican bite.
The founder, Luis Navarro, was inspired by his grandmother Margarita in Mexico. Their ethos is to buy fresh, cook simply, and waste nothing. The pork, beef and lamb come from local East Anglian farms and they only use meat from free-range grass-fed animals. All dishes are prepared in-house including their great-tasting guacamole and salsas. We recommend that you treat yourself to some fresh, healthy fare such as burritos, enchiladas and quesadillas. This is a real Mexican experience!
Nanna Mexico is also a socially responsible restaurant. It is involved with the Cooking Together initiative that runs one-day workshops in prisons and schools.
There is another branch of Nanna Mexico on Regent Street in Cambridge, and a third in Norwich.
