Queens Park Preserves
Queens Park Preserves make delicious jams and chutneys. The intensity of flavour packed into their beautifully presented jars impressed us so much that we had no qualms in inviting them to join Great Food Club. With a sample we tried, the thick blackberry jam was loaded with fruit, the perfect thickness and the flavour was highly concentrated.
Queens Park Preserves do everything by hand, from fruit preparation to cooking, bottling and labelling. And it all takes place in Queens Park Preserves’ kitchens in Hinckley, Leicestershire, by husband and wife team Colin Asher and Alison Williams, who founded the company in 2011. “We generally produce batches of 20-35 jars at any one time and consider ourselves to be true artisan producers,” says Colin.
Queens Park Preserves sells through its website, at shows, markets and food festivals, and through a few select farm shops, delicatessans and garden centres. There is a diverse range of 26 preserves including traditional favourites like strawberry, raspberry and cherry, plus more unusual offerings such as strawberry & black pepper jam, mango & lime jam, hot spicy onion chutney, and Moroccan chutney.
