Rosie Lea Kitchen
Rosie Lea Kitchen at Setley Ridge Vineyard – next to Setley Ridge Farm Shop and Garden Centre – is Rachel Rabbett’s second tea room. Her other is in the centre of Brockenhurst village.
The rambling wooden greenhouses here at Rosie Lea Kitchen are full of cacti, citrus and olive trees and lead to the tea rooms. With a cool aroma of potting shed, mismatched tables and chairs, real china and a large outdoor eating area, this is a relaxed, colourful place to take a coffee or lunch.
Many customers will come here for the cakes, freshly made on-site – lemon drizzle being a stand-out – but the lunch menu is thoughtful, short and seasonal, and judging by the reserved tables, much enjoyed. Cake portions are generous; our vegan orange and almond cake would happily have fed three of us, and was moist and fragrant.
Rosie Lea Kitchen is conveniently situated off a busy road, with ample parking. Its location next to the vineyard, farm shop and garden centre is ideal, giving you the opportunity to try local wines, buy local produce, and load up with plants and gifts at the same time.
