The Palmerston Arms
This Batemans-owned traditional community pub is a real Mecca for beer drinkers.
Situated in a rather uninspiring setting, it is one of the oldest buildings in the area with parts dating back around 400 years. It has a cosy interior and a unique feature in the form of a glass wall to the cellar so you can see your beer being drawn directly from the barrel.
This pub serves a huge range of up to 14 beers and ciders with an emphasis on local breweries such as Oakham Ales of Peterborough. There is an ample supply of bar snacks to accompany your ale.
The “Palmy” as it is known locally has won many CAMRA awards over the years including three times Peterborough & District Branch Pub of the Year.
There is regular entertainment including the Palmerston Ukulele Band on Thursday evenings.
