The Roundhouse in Nottingham is now under the loving care of Craig and Rosie, founders of The Bakehouse in Sherwood. We paid them a visit on opening night and liked the look of the menu! The beer line-up is also excellent (and local) – Welbeck Abbey Brewery, Black Iris Brewery, Castle Rock Brewery and Shipstone’s.
Housed in the former Jubilee Wing of the Nottingham General Hospital, The Roundhouse has a real sense of history and offers top-notch dishes such as Award-Winning Taylors Sausages with Champ Mash & Pickled Red Cabbage, Roasted Butternut Squash with Chilli, Thyme & Hazelnut Dressing & Green Beans (suitable for vegans) and on Sundays, you can opt for roasts including Roast Rib of Doveridge Beef with Roast Potatoes, Pickled Red Cabbage and Ale Gravy & Horseradish Hollandaise.
