Warner’s Gin

Warner Edwards makes unique yet fantastic-tasting gin at its distillery on Falls Farm in the heart of rural Northamptonshire.

The business was set up in 2012 by two old friends, Welshman Sion Edwards (above right) and Harrington local Tom Warner (above left). Sensing a business opportunity due to growing demand for artisan spirits, they launched their Harrington Dry Gin brand after two years of research.

The product contains ten ingredients, some of which – such as elderflower – are sourced from the farm in Northamptonshire, and others from Sion’s farm in Wales. The water used to make Harrington Dry Gin comes from a natural spring just yards away in the village.

At the heart of Warner Edwards Distillery is its bespoke Arnold Holstein copper still, christened ‘Curiosity’ by Tom and Sion, which is housed in a converted barn on Falls Farm. In this beautiful still, Harrington Gin is handcrafted in small batches.

“‘Curiosity’ is equipped with eight bubble plates and a patented catalyser that binds cyanides, ethyl carbamates and reduces acidity,” says Tom Warner. “This enables our wonderful ingredients and spring water to be distilled and produce smooth and tasty spirits for all to enjoy!”

A Great Food Club reviewer described Harrington Dry Gin as: “Impressive and smooth with a truly unique flavour, offering notes of orange and lavender.”
