Construction work begins on Everards’ new brewery & beer hall in Leicester

Everards of Leicestershire has confirmed that construction of its new brewery, beer hall and offices starts this month (February 2019). It’s anticipated the development will start trading and brewing in summer 2020.

Managing director Stephen Gould said: “It has been a period of significant change at Everards with more to follow this year with the opening of the first buildings at Everards Meadows and the start of construction this month of our brewery, beer hall and offices. Our underlying performance during this period of transition has been very positive, which is a real credit to all of the team.”

As well as a new brewery, beer hall, cafe and offices, Everards Meadows – located next to police headquarters in Enderby – will offer almost two miles of cycling and footpaths, mooring points on the Grand Union Canal and a new bridge over the River Soar. It will also be home to a cycle centre – operated by Rutland Cycles and offering bikes to buy or rent.
