Using fruit you’ve picked yourself in recipes is rewarding.

Getting out into the fresh air plucking locally grown berries is great fun (and good for the kids), and you also get to enjoy the freshest, most taste-packed produce possible. Supporting local farmers is a bonus.

For example, you could make a summer pudding made with strawberries grown at Wymeswold Fruit Farm, or a berry smoothie made with fruit from Seldom Seen Farm.

This downloadable map (link below) contains all the details of the region’s PYO farms. We’ve checked all the contact information but please check with each grower before setting off as opening times vary.

The map also contains details of our community orchards, which are worth a visit.
