Following last year’s success with James Wood of Totally Wild Foraging here at Fischer’s at Baslow Hall, we are delighted to announce the collaboration continues with dates running from March to November!
Having been in love with the wild world since childhood, James spent many years developing his skills and knowledge of all things “wild”, from mushroom paper to elder berry salt. James is now seen as one of the UK’s top foraging and wild food experts, he’s on a mission to share this knowledge and show people that wild food is not only everywhere, it can taste amazing.
Join us for the day and discover the huge abundance of wild ingredients that lie a stone’s throw from the tables you dine at. From flowers that taste like pineapple, to leaves that taste of aniseed, you will be guided through this culinary journey by one of Totally Wild UK’s professional foragers.
Return for lunch cooked by our Head Chef James Payne and his team with a menu inspired by your day’s bountiful harvest enjoying truly local, seasonal and fresh wild ingredients at their best.
