Leicestershire brewer Everards has scooped silver and bronze medals at the prestigious Brussels Beer Challenge for its Tiger Best Bitter and Beacon Bitter respectively.

Tiger bagged a silver in the Pale and Amber Ale, Best Bitter category. Beacon Bitter claimed bronze medal in the Pale and Amber Ale Bitter category.

The Brussels Beer Challenge is an internationally recognised beer tasting competition that attracted over 500 entries this year. Forty beer experts from all over the world, including high-profile UK beer writers Jeff Evans, Melissa Cole, Tina Hampson and Adrian Tierney Jones, formed the judging panel assembled to decide the best of the brews.

Earlier in the year Beacon Ale claimed Gold at The British Bottlers’ Institute Awards and Tiger Best Bitter was given the Silver medal at the same competition.
