Great Food Club – the club that showcases the region’s very best independent restaurants, food shops and producers – is now free to join.

After filling in an online form, members will be posted a membership card that enables them to claim offers at participating shops, restaurants and producers. Using a Great Food Club card just twice a month will result in a saving of over £120 a year.

For example, members get 20% off the a la carte menu at The Hammer & Pincers, Wymeswold, Leicestershire; enjoy a complementary round of cocktails when dining at The Olive Branch, Clipsham, Rutland; and receive 10% discount at The Royal Shakespeare Company’s Rooftop Restaurant, Stratford-upon-Avon.

All businesses that become part of Great Food Club are selected by Great Food Magazine because they are independent, regularly source their ingredients or products locally and, in our opinion, are of a high quality.

The aim is to create a directory of the Heart of England’s very best independent food businesses.
