Great Food nominated for media award

Great Food Magazine and website have been shortlisted for a prestigious 2011 Media Pioneer Award by the Specialist Media Show.

The nomination is for “innovative distribution strategy combined with top-quality editorial”.

Great Food is sold in over 100 newsagents, farm shops, garden centres and delis across the region, and in all Waitrose stores.

In addition, 10,000 copies are sent out as sample copies to targeted households via direct marketing specialists Link Direct. However, the distribution routes are rotated so on average each household only receives one free copy a year.
