If samosas tickle your tastebuds then you really need to know about Samosa Wallah. The founder was born in Mumbai and was heavily influenced by his Auntie Puspa’s Indian cuisine. Bada Sahib ‘Big Boss’ came to England at the age of 18 to study at Loughborough University – where he met Chota Sahib ‘Little Boss’ and the two became friends.
Life took over, but, some years later, Bada was still thinking about Auntie Puspa’s samosas and decided it was time to bring them to Britain with the help of Chota. Described as ‘very, very tastee’, there are samosas for everyone, and all are handmade. There are chicken samosas stuffed with chunks of tandoori-style chicken, lamb samosas with curried lamb and peas, and vegetable samosas which are also vegan.
You can order online with local deliveries to Melton Mowbray and Loughborough, or place orders to be delivered anywhere in the UK. So next time you’re thinking of sending flowers, maybe consider sending a bouquet of samosas instead.
They are also available pre-boxed chilled or frozen in leading farm shops & delis including GFC’s Deli of the Year 2020/21, Thrussington’s Village Shop; Harker’s Farm Shop in Clipston on the Wolds, Nottinghamshire; Roots Farm Shop at Barkby Thorpe, Leicestershire; Stonehurst Farm Shop in Mountsorrel, Leicestershire; Grasmere Deli in Market Deeping, Lincolnshire; and Hilltop Farm Shop in Melton Mowbray.
