Campfire Gin

Campfire Gin, is the brainchild of Kate and Ben Marston. They are real outdoors people and have spent their lives exploring the world and ending many a day with a G&T around a campfire…hence the name!

Campfire’s home is Puddingstone Distillery, just outside Tring right next door to one of their stockists, PE Mead. The distillery houses three working stills currently. There’s a big tradition in gin distilling to name the stills after women who are important to the business or close to the founder’s family. Campfire have taken it in a different direction though and named them after pioneering female adventurers and explorers Annie Cohen Kopchovsky, Isabella Lucy Bird and Amelia Earhart. These stills produce an excellent range such as London Dry, Cask Aged, Old Tom and Navy Strength. Plus there are special editions such as the Box Moor (using juniper from the Box More Estate in Hemel); the collaboration with George Street Canteen in St Albans; and their seasonal Pud Pud Cherry Gin.

Kate and Ben take sustainability very seriously – this includes their supply chain, their packaging and the production process. They’ll even do refills if you bring your empty bottle back.

It’s also multi-award winning, so get yourself down to the distillery for a tour and to grab a bottle or two!
