The Garage is a lively venue attracting a fun-loving crowd who enjoy street food, comedy, artisan markets and of course, good drink. From 1913, it was the home of Barton Transport Limited, which was a major independent bus operator in its time. The space itself is large and self-contained, meaning you can have a good day out without having to go far and there’s always something new to try.
Pop-up events are common and the offer is always fresh; so much so, The Garage could easily tempt the hip crowd away from east London! There are regular comedy nights and the Street Food Smoke Up provides world cuisine and great music once a month. Twice a month, there’s a farmers’ market hosting indie producers and, if you fancy a little vintage and craft shopping, there’s a market twice a month offering that, too.
