The Duck at Woolsthorpe by Belvoir has officially opened its doors! Formerly known as The Dirty Duck, this refurbished pub is the latest venture from the team behind The Unicorn’s Head at Langar, our Pub of the Year 2024/5.
Set on the banks of the Grantham Canal with a view of Belvoir Castle, The Duck offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere and an exciting menu crafted with care, creativity and local ingredients.
Whether you’re stopping by for a casual bite or a special occasion, there’s something for everyone. Highlights from the current festive menu include:
- Game, cranberry & chestnut pie with creamy mash and warm pickled red cabbage
- Harker’s ribeye steak with chips and a Stilton & port sauce
- Sweet potato pakora burger with coriander & mint chutney
For pudding, you’ll find indulgent options like pumpkin pie with honey & ginger ice cream, sticky toffee pudding, and a decadent chocolate delice with pecan nut praline.
The Duck also offers a Sandwich Menu, Weekend Breakfasts and Sunday Roasts every week from 12pm. If you’re out walking along the canal, pop in for a homemade sausage roll, a slice of cake, or just a relaxing drink – dogs are welcome too.
