Five Bells Inn, Edenham

The Five Bells Inn Edenham is a country pub near Bourne in Lincolnshire that went through a  perfectly pitched refurb in 2024. The pub itself has a rich history, dating back to 1880 on the site of a temperance hotel. Supposedly its name comes from the local church which was originally built with five bells.

Founders, Lucy and Bill Sacker have a history in farming and a love for great food and local produce. But they also spent some time in Northern Spain and are passionate about bringing the best of Spanish cuisine to this pocket of Lincolnshire. They had always dreamed of opening a restaurant and the Five Bells is a great combination of restaurant and classic country pub.

There are two menus on the go at any time. You can enjoy pub classics such as sausage & mash, fish & chips, pork belly, ploughmans or burgers. But there’s also a lovely Spanish tapas menus including queso manchego, tortilla de patatas or gambas de ajillo. All of this can be washed down with a glass of wine or a pint of well-kept cask ale. Brewers such as Nene Valley or Mr Grundys can often be found on tap!
