Jorge Café at Eastwell Crossroads is the new daytime base for chef George Bennett’s Jorge Artisan Foods, bringing his well-known deli range into a spacious, relaxed café setting. It sits on Scalford Road in the Vale of Belvoir, with the deli just opposite, making this a strong double stop for food lovers.
The café runs as an easy-going daytime operation, open at the time of publication (always a good idea to check before setting off) Wednesday to Friday from 9:30am to 4pm, Saturday 10am to 4pm and Sunday 10am to 2:30pm. Mornings focus on coffee, cakes and pastries, before a lunch menu from 11:30am to 2:30pm, then a return to lighter afternoon options. The cooking draws on local produce and Mediterranean influences, with a mix of small plates, light bites and more substantial dishes, all prepared fresh on site.
