June’s Farm in Whitwell is a micro-farm on six acres near Rutland Water. All of June Titterton-Fox’s meat boxes contain antibiotic-free, slow-grown and outdoor-raised pork, beef or lamb.
She says: “I have always been a fan of the TV series The Good Life so when an opportunity came up to buy a house in Whitwell with some land, we moved. Starting off with a few sheep, we quickly progressed to cattle and then pigs.”
Today she keeps around 30 pigs (mainly Saddlebacks and large blacks), a small number of rare-breed Belted Galloway cattle and a handful of sheep.
