Sophie Arlott is the shepherdess behind Lavinton Lamb in Lincolnshire. Sophie has lived on the farm with her husband and sons since 1999 and ensures her sheep enjoy the best life possible. Her flock graze the pastures and enjoy a tasty diet of grasses thanks to time spent on Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust’s wildflower meadows and grassland.
The lamb is of such high quality that it’s received countless accolades and awards. It also features on the menus of Michelin Star restaurants such as Restaurant Sat Bains in Nottingham and The Waterside in Bray. Marcus Wareing is one of many famous fans – he describes Lavinton Lamb as “excellent”.
However, you don’t have to be a Michelin Star chef or even go to a fancy restaurant to enjoy this fine meat because orders can be placed online. Moroccan lamb sausages, gourmet lamb burgers and lamb boxes featuring a selection of cuts are all available for order on the website.
