Mulberry Tree Cafe
Mulberry Tree Cafe, part of the Strelley Hall estate, was opened in 2015 by Geraldine Rudham who moved into the hall with her family when she was 10. Her connection to this historic house and the land surrounding it makes this cafe both charming and unique. It serves its local community, too, with regular events and celebrations.
You’ll find the cafe in the old stables area and whether you’re just popping in for tea and cake with a friend or fancy a hearty breakfast before heading out on a walk, there’s always something new to try. Afternoon tea is served on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons in the Georgian function rooms in the main building. The scones are the highlight – Geraldine herself worked on the recipe to ensure they are utterly delicious!
