The Stratford Haven
The Stratford Haven is part of the Castle Rock Brewery group and you’ll find it near Trent Bridge in West Bridgford. It’s a traditional pub that has a massive range of beers and when we popped in, we enjoyed a half of chocolate and pecan caramel stout brewed by local brewery Liquid Light.
It opened in the late 90s and, in addition to its keg and cask beer offering, there’s plenty of hearty pub classics to tuck into and on Wednesday, you can enjoy a burger (vegetarian and vegan too). Thursday is pizza night and Sunday, it’s time for a roast and, if you’re still there at 5pm, it’s quiz night with free entry.
This is a great pub with plenty of space inside and also a courtyard beer garden that’s perfect for summer.
