The Unicorn’s Head, Langar

Under the new stewardship of Andy Hunt, Leroy Allen and Simon Barnes, The Unicorn’s Head is back on the foodie map. This historic pub, now run by this trio of hospitality veterans, is committed to local sourcing, featuring meats from nearby Harker’s Farm Shop and bread from Welbeck Bakehouse.

The menu, crafted with skill and flair by head chef Leroy and his team, offers comforting pub classics and weekend breakfasts that perfectly complement the pub’s ambiance. Andy, Leroy, and Simon are not just running a business but nurturing a passion. “We want everyone who visits to fall in love with the pub, just as we have,” says Andy.

You can pop in for breakfast at weekends, enjoy a sandwich at the bar or explore the lunch and evening menus. The Sunday roast features three types of meat on one plate – beef, pork and lamb and all the trimmings so prepare for a proper feast! Children and dogs are very welcome and there’s a good-sized beer garden out back for those long summer evenings!
