The White Horse in Quorn is a country pub offering fresh, homemade food, stonebaked pizzas, great ales and fine wines. It serves breakfast every Saturday and Sunday, and has a stylish piazza beer garden. As well as the pizzas, which can also be made with vegan cheese and gluten-free bases on request, the menu includes pub classics such as burgers or fish and chips, alongside pan-fried seabass and slow-braised lamb fritter.
It’s also a pub that amazes time and again. Since 2015 it has raised approximately £100,000 for local projects through its own charitable foundation, The White Horse Wishing Well. This foundation shows just how much a caring and driven group of people can achieve when they join forces to help the local community. It also demonstrates how a pub can be so much more to its locality than just a place to eat and drink.
