Attfield’s Farm Shop

Established in 1960, Attfield’s Farm Shop & Cafe in Whetstone has become a cornerstone for high-quality, locally-sourced food and drink. Offering fresh cuts of meat, homegrown fruits, and vegetables, and locally made cakes and confectionary, the shop presents a diverse selection of produce. They also have fresh eggs courtesy of their free range hens.

You can also pick up smokeless fuels, firewood or top quality pet food while you’re there.

Additionally, their café is open every day for breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea, all featuring their own fresh ingredients. Breakfasts are selected primarily on size: from the ‘small’ (sausage, egg, bacon, tomato, beans, mushroom, toast) up to the large which has 3 of pretty much everything! Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are also available.

The lunch menu is varied and very reasonably priced including: salads, filled baked potatoes, handmade burgers, fish & chips as well as homemade quiches. And if you’re still hungry after all that, why not stay for an afternoon tea? There are sandwiches, fresh pastries, fruit scones and plenty of cakes to choose from, and you can even have a glass of wine or fizz to wash it down!
