Blend at Contemporary
Blend first opened its doors at Sneinton Market in 2017 and became a popular spot for locals and creatives looking for somewhere laidback to enjoy coffee, cakes and the rather delicious grilled cheese sandwiches. A further branch opened at EastWest office space and, as of earlier this year, Blend took over running the cafe in Nottingham Contemporary gallery.
On the menu, you’ll always find delicious coffee from Stewarts of Trent Bridge and plenty of brunch and lunch options such as sourdough French toast, granola fruit bowl and poached eggs. The excellently-named grilled cheese sandwiches cater for everyone and include: Brieyonce (roasted wild mushroom, brie and spinach), I Can’t Believe It’s Not Feta (vegan feta with courgette), Kate Mozz (vegan mozzarella with mixed onions) and Kevin Baconator (pepper and honey-glazed bacon with Stilton).
