Bottle & Thyme

Bottle & Thyme is a modern and rustic town centre venue with great food and an ethos to match. This family-run independent restaurant has a wonderful team of friendly staff who serve their fresh and organic seasonal dishes from morning to night.

There’s a welcoming vibe as soon as you enter. Décor is modern yet rustic; natural wood and glass, a variety of plants and repurposed decoration. As well as the main dining area off to the left, there’s a smaller area overlooking the kitchen, to the right of the serving counter. The owners at Bottle & Thyme are not only passionate about their ethical and responsibly sourced food but also about the environment. Measures are in place to reach zero-waste status and they reward customers for helping them to achieve it.

Breakfasts are fresh, free-range and fabulous! We can thoroughly recommend the Full English and the Wild Mushrooms with Buttered Spinach & Truffle Oil. For a popular and busy venue, it manages to retain a relaxing atmosphere where the service is personable and professional.

The lunch menu comprises fresh sandwiches, home-made soups and quiches, salad bowls, burgers, skewers and sharing platters. The evening menu has a delectable array of starters, mains and sharers to suit all palettes. It’s easy to see why Bottle and Thyme is a popular venue for drinks, alongside the classic drink offerings, their menu is categorised as such: Classic Botany, Herbs & Spices, Nuts & Seeds, Bartenders Orangery, Fruit Flowers & Forests and Alcohol-Free.

Bottle & Thyme is an eatery that people are happy and proud to support – a lovely venue serving delicious food and drink.
