The Railway, Belper

The Railway is home to ‘the best beer garden in Belper’ and plenty of good cheer and real ale. In 2019, Lincoln Green Brewing Company totally renovated the pub and it’s now a lovely little spot.

Here you’ll find eight handpulled ales including a selection from the brewery plus guest ales, craft beers such as Blackshale (another offering from the brewery) and plenty of whisky and gin! There’s a gin tasting each month, if you fancy learning a bit more about your favourite spirit, plus quiz nights and other events.

The pub is also a good stop off for proper pub grub and it’s great value too, with main meals such as southern fried chicken burger and chips for just £6.50. Children’s meals are just £3.95. You’ll also find breakfast wraps (if you’re starting early), sandwiches, salads, pizzas and basket meals.
