Evington’s Wine Merchants has been in business for roughly 100 years (est 1926). And all of those years in the same premises. They are proudly independent and provide the finest quality wines locally and nationally.
The shop itself is a treasure trove of fine wines, a great selection of ports and champagnes and spirits too. Its location doesn’t lend itself to huge passing trade, but its customer base is fiercely loyal. They are more than happy to provide customers with friendly advice and host regular tasting events too.
This is a true family affair. Simon March has led the business for many years but now his son Olly is picking up the baton. Olly has realised that he needs to take the business to the next stage and the web shop is an example of that. Customers nationwide can now order individual bottles, mixed cases and gift packs including reasonably priced wines, premium bottles and everything in between!
It’s not just wines at Evington’s though. There is also a very good range of malt whiskies, liqueurs and aperitifs. So whatever your tipple, Evington’s has you covered!
