The Nevill Arms, Medbourne

The pretty village of Medbourne is located in the Welland Valley and right beside the brook, you’ll find The Nevill Arms – it’s a distinctive and historic building that was once a coaching inn but is now a lively pub, beautiful restaurant and offers 10 bedrooms if you fancy staying over. There’s also a new feature – the Josper Bar & Grill set in its own sheltered courtyard – it has a Mediterranean vibe with olive trees and lavender so you’ll feel like you’re on holiday. It’s open during the warmer months and you can enjoy delicious tasting fish and meat fresh from the Josper oven.

Local produce is at the heart of the business and whether you dine outside or in, you can be sure that everything on the menu has been carefully sourced. The pub has its own farm at Great Easton and has rare breed cows (including Belted Galloway), sheep and pigs which is all part of the field to fork approach. Vegetables and herbs come from Keythorpe Walled Gardens with cheese from Sparkenhoe and eggs from Shangton – this is supporting local at its best.
