Fischer’s at Baslow Hall

Fischer’s at Baslow Hall is a highly individual slice of country luxury offering top-class food.

Set in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales within walking distance of Chatsworth House, the Hall was bought by Max and Susan Fischer in 1988. They have given it a homely feel, focusing on comfort and character.

Head chef Adam Thackeray has an incredible passion for food, constantly seeking the highest quality produce and working with only the best local suppliers. The kitchen crew take full advantage of fantastic, fresh, seasonal Derbyshire, and British produce. Many of the vegetables and herbs used are grown in Baslow Hall’s lovingly tended kitchen garden.

A good way to introduce yourself to the delights of Fischer’s is through “Lunch For Less“, which runs Wednesday and Thursday until the end of November.

Baslow Hall’s 11 bedrooms are individually styled, offering good beds, high-quality Egyptian cotton sheets, fluffy white towels, robes and luxurious toiletries.
