Fischer’s at Baslow Hall
Fischer’s at Baslow Hall is a highly individual slice of country luxury offering top-class food. It boasts three Red AA Rosettes and a Michelin Plate 2021.
Set in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales within walking distance of Chatsworth House, the Hall was bought by Max and Susan Fischer in 1988. They have given it a homely feel, focusing on comfort and character. “We want our guests to relax and be pampered, to enjoy good food and wine, and return to their daily lives refreshed,” says Max.
Head chef Nathan Wall has an incredible passion for food, constantly seeking the highest quality produce and working with only the best local suppliers. The kitchen crew take full advantage of fantastic, fresh, seasonal Derbyshire, and British produce. Many of the vegetables and herbs used are grown in Baslow Hall’s lovingly tended kitchen garden.
A good way to introduce yourself to the delights of Fischer’s is through “Lunch For Less“, which runs Wednesday and Thursday until the end of November, (two courses for £31.50 and the third course for an extra £8.50).
Baslow Hall’s 11 bedrooms are individually styled, offering good beds, high-quality Egyptian cotton sheets, fluffy white towels, robes and luxurious toiletries.
