Fulmore Farm Dairy
Sally & Aaron Spence run Fulmore Farm Dairy in Cosby just outside Leicester. This beautiful dairy farm has been passed down from Sally’s mum and dad, and may pass on to their sons Edward and William one day too. It’s a real family business!
They run a happy herd of pedigree Jersey Cows who produce naturally rich and creamy Jersey milk, which is 20% higher in protein and calcium than from other breeds.
Although the family used to do all the milking themselves, their purchase of robotic milking machines has resulted in happier cows, and has also allowed Sally and Aaron more time to manage the farm. This this extra time has enabled them to build and run their handy hut with a vending machine, stocked full of wonderful dairy goodies.
If you’re passing Cosby, Fulmore is a must visit. Bring your reusable bottles and fill up with one or two litres of fresh pasteurized un-homogenized Jersey Milk. Kids will definitely want one of the delectable milkshakes. Whether it’s a classic flavour such as vanilla, chocolate and strawberry, or something different like Cookies and Cream or Caramel Macchiato, everyone will find a milkshake they’ll love! You can also pick up fresh cream, Jersey butter or some free range eggs on your visit too.
The vending machine is open 7am-7pm, 7 days per week, so pop round whenever you can!
