Hali & Lulu, on the High Street in Potters Bar is a beautifully curated, family‑run coffee shop that opened in 2023. The idea came from mum and dad Nina and Berkan who, with young kids themselves, wanted to create a café where parents could get great coffee and kids could play.
They serve specialty coffee, chai, matcha and plenty of different teas. There are a good selection of artisan pastries and a range of toasties too. But one of the big attractions for young parents is the Montessori‑inspired play area encouraging hands-on learning, self-discovery and creativity.
There is a real community vibe about Hali and Lulu, with friendly staff and great coffee!
