Anita Chipalkatty is passionate about sharing her cooking knowledge and believes the kitchen is the heart of the home. Her mission is to inspire people to cook and wants everyone to get back into the kitchen and rediscover the joys of home cooking and healthy eating. She says: “Learning to cook is a life skill and I hope, through my classes, people get back into the kitchen to have conversations, share experiences, make memories and celebrate food.”
The classes are held in her family home in Collingtree Park, Northampton, which offers a relaxed place to learn to cook Asian cuisine using a mix of traditional methods and modern techniques.
Whether you are a complete novice or know your way around a kitchen and want to learn new skills, Anita’s tuition is ideal. She will tailor classes to suit your skill level and you can also become part of her ‘Curry Club’, which entails cooking different dinner party recipes. You get a demo from Anita with recipe cards plus a hands-on cooking experience with all ingredients included. To top it all you get to eat all the tasty food!
When she is not teaching how to cook delicious food, Anita can be found demonstrating her skills at various food festivals around the county including Towcester Food Festival and Northampton Winter Festival.
