Losehill House Hotel & Spa

Losehill House Hotel & Spa in the heart of the Peak District offers award-winning dining in the Grafene Restaurant. The beautiful, light and open-plan room boasts floor-to-ceiling windows with striking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Décor is bright and contemporary with a muted colour scheme.

The venue is owned and run by Paul and Kathryn Roden, who pride themselves on being environmentally friendly and sourcing ingredients from local partners.

We visited during the festive period and were the first to arrive for the lunch sitting, so had the opportunity to take a look around before we tucked into our meal. For starters we had game terrine, pistachio pesto with smoked bacon crumb, and goats cheese mousse with beetroot, horseradish and walnut, both looked delightful and tasted divine. For main course, we had the turkey and the beef from the festive menu, with trimmings. We chose champagne and beer with our food and table water is supplied. The whole experience was wonderful and by the time we left, the restaurant was full which was no surprise!
