Maxeys Farm Shop & Kitchen

Maxeys is an excellent farm shop in north Nottinghamshire that has been recommended to us many times by Great Food Club members who live in the area.

The original shop opened in 2012 on Katharine Maxey’s family farm and it’s recently undergone a significant transformation with a brand new farm shop plus a tearoom. Vegetables are homegrown and include asparagus, potatoes and pumpkins which are quite the attraction leading up to Halloween! You’ll also find local meat, a wide selection of cheeses, condiments, preserves and of course, crackers and biscuits. If you’re after a regional tipple, too, there’s plenty to choose from including real ales, cider and gin.

The in-store bakery makes the most delicious cakes and other baked goodies so you’ll be leaving with your shopping bags full to bursting! If you need a rest after all that shopping, take a seat in the tearooms and enjoy a bite to eat.
