No 23, Uppingham
Located in Uppingham in Rutland, No.23 is the latest offering from the team who run The Sun Inn, Great Easton, The Nevill Arms, Medbourne and The Red Lion, Great Bowden. The elegant building is Grade II listed and has been restored beautifully – inside you’ll find tastefully decorated interiors in a muted colour scheme that creates an intimate feel.
The restaurant has a Mediterranean-style menu including dishes such as Fresh Pesto Rigatoni with basil and parmesan, Roast Breast of Chicken with potato rosti, courgetti and pancetta jus and Vegetable Paella. Meat comes from the pub’s own farm at Great Easton and all other produce is locally sourced, where possible.
Start off with some delicious cocktails and why not enjoy your meal with one of the carefully selected wines that make up the wine list?
