Picks Barn Cafe
Pick’s Barn Café, in the charming estate village of Lyndon is part of the Pick’s Barn event venue and workspace. It’s set in beautiful Rutland countryside, only a couple of miles from Rutland Water.
It’s open every day except Mondays, serving breakfasts and light lunches. There’s space for around 30 people in the café itself, but on busy days there’s plenty of room in the barn or on the veranda overlooking the beautiful Chater Valley.
The breakfast menu includes light snacks such as granola with fresh berries or toast with jam, as well as scrambled eggs, bacon rolls or even full breakfasts. At lunchtime there is always a fresh soup, sandwiches, toasties or homemade quiche of the day.
The ethos is to supply great food with fresh, thoughtfully sourced ingredients. And much of it local too such as meats from Nelson’s, chutneys from Vivia Crump and breads from former Great Food Club Bakery of the Year Lily & Honey!
